'77 KZ650 Before, During, After

Hey guys, I figured since a lot of you have been a great source of information during the rebuild, I'd share some pics of my 1977 KZ650 before, during, and after. Plus... I'd like your opinions. Thanks!

Thanks for the kind words... I'm glad you guys like it. I have a feeling that this will be the first of many restores/rebuilds in my future. I loved going through the process of making the bike my own.

Luckily when I bought her there wasn't much to do mechanically. Re-jet and a carb sync and I was good to go. As for future plans, I'm probably going to refinish the wheels in black, I may try and come up with a more streamlined seat than the ZRX/KZ combo that I have on there now.

Im new on here. I just bought a 77 kz650b and im looking to mod it. What kind and where did you get your mirror, turn signals, and license plate mount? Your bike looks nice!

Thanks, and welcome! The mirror(s) came with bike when I bought it, and I've since moved on to bar ends. If you're interested, I'd be willing to sell you the pair for a fair price. They're both in great shape. Turn signals are from eBay (make sure you get the metal housings, not the cheapo plastic crap), tail light/license plate mount were bought from americanclassix.com I'm going to be changing that pretty soon to a reversed ninja tail light.
