I will start from the beginning...

Last Spring, I ended up acquiring a 1982 kz 750 e3. This is how she looked when I got her:

The first thing I did was paint her a different color and add superbike bars and bar end mirrors.

Next came another paint job, and a vance and hines 4-into-1 exhaust.

From this point, I had decided to go custom cruiser with the bike, but then changed my mind after cutting the frame and putting on a new wheel (16" LTD wheel).

Today, I rejetted the carbs, removed the stock airbox, added K&N pods, and painted the carbs to match the painted engine.

I also recently added Acewell Single digital gauge, Woodcraft clipons, Raask rearsets, and a side-mount license plate bracket (which I'm not sure I like...):

This is more or less how she sits now. I am still waiting on my seat and seat pan. I need to clean up the front-end wiring, paint, cover the seat, and I will be posting more pics at that point....after going for my first ride of the season! :laugh:

I don't have enough of the right sizes to do it all, so I will be hitting up my local Auto Zone later....

...and I'm still waiting for my cafe seat and pan to get here. I'm glad it's been a little colder and rainy lately. It doesn't make me miss riding too much...but I know when I'm done and have the slickest vintage bike on the roads this summer, I will be SO glad I made the mods!
