I like that fuse box too. I had gotten the supplier from otakar a while ago because I wanted one, I just never ordered it. I thought there was a $25 minimum order with Del City, no?

And those are cleeeeeeean looking gauges! With the odo set to zero even! Did it come from the seller that way?

Have a relaxing, fun anniversary Josh!

Yeah, Del City has a minimum order of $25. I made up the difference by ordering a 4oz. tube of Ox-Gard, and 2 X 4' lenghts of shrink tube in every size from 1/2" to 1 1/2". Del City has lots of cool stuff for electrical projects.

As for the gauges. No they were not that clean. I actually took them apart to clean inside and out. IIRC, I took a new cloth polishing wheel in my Dremel tool, and used it to rotate the ODO back to 0mi. I know that I held it against the 0.1mi wheel from the backside and it took about 15 min to roll off the 24,000 miles that were on the gauges. My mileage is listed as exempt on the title due to age, so I feel ok in doing this since my bike is getting a full rebuild. I have no idea what my real miles are b/c my original gauges are gone.

I finally developed a strategy to mount my gauges. So I decided to do a little modification of the upper triple clamp.

Here's the GSXR clamp in stock form:

I removed the ring around the ignition cylinder, and the bosses from the bottom of the clamp.

I plan on fabricating a bracket to mount the dashboard so that the top of the plastic cover is flush with the top of the triple clamp. This bracket may also be integrated with the headlamp mount. I just held the dashboard up to get an idea of what it will look like.

what year gsxr forks/triples are they?
and what is the fork dia.?
I have a top clamp here ...that those stock guages will bolt onto....the only thing you may have to do is bush the hole for the stem....I believe the stem had a bigger OD in '07...than in previous years....(the clamp was built for an 07) but that should be an easy fix as long as the forks are the same size.
I think I have 5 left

The forks are from an 95 gsxr 750. I'm not sure on the diameters, but I will check when I get home this evening. Do you have a picture of the clamp that you made?

Thanks Larry. I still need to figure out a way of replicating the original labels on the warning lights. Mine dash has almost no trace left of the the idiot lights, and only the faintest trace on the turn signal arrows. I know that blue is high beams, green is neutral, but the oil pressure light and brake outage like both being red could lead to a confusing situation. Not likely to happen, but what if the break light goes out, and not knowing I think that I have lost oil pressure. What is the natural response. Kill the bike and get her stopped fast. Only to be rear-ended because the car following couldn't see your break light.

where do you measure them to tell what mm they are?
the upper part of the leg is diff.than the lower part,or does the mm # refer to the chrome leg?i will gladly measure them and let you know,i just don't know which measurement is the one.

The measurement Testa is referring to is the chrome slider part.

The early-90's Gsxr 750/1100 and the newer forks are made by Showa but I know the lower part where the calipers, fender and axle bolts to are different. Except for the 1100's I believe they all share 50mm (upper) and 54mm (lower) diamaters on the fork legs.
