Front fender - I have two choices at the moment.

GSXR fender, needs work, needs trimmed to fit the bike, and painted to minimize it's bulk.

KZ Spectre fender, doesn't fit the radius of the tire very well.

I'm leaning towards trimming the Gixxer fender, it's less work, and it fits the forks. I really like the bike without the fender, but this ain't no trailer queen, rain happens.

Wired - Not at all, but I do have the wires sorted. I'm going through the whole harness. Clean terminals, blade fuse box, new heat shrink on everything.

Pipe - You're guess is as good as mine. Tony gave it to me, it's the old pipe from his MKII. He thought it was a Mac, but I'm not sure. The only markings on it, are two, three digit numbers stamped in the bottom of the pipes. One on the header, and one on the tailpipe where they attach.

Taillight is from a late model R6 and it's in there upside down.

Rear tire is 180/55zr17.

The right classic fender style is IMO the best looking arrangement. I went 'round & 'round over front fenders myself because the inverted forks should have some protective deflector to protect the inner tubes....

The Suzuki fender is a pretty good looking fender for a sport bike type. I agree it needs some trimming.

A nice seat will really make things come together.

All the hard work is finally paying off ;)

You've done a nice job.

you mat find that if u pull the spectre fender wider in the center to fit the forks , that the front and rear will pull downwards and match the tires radius. i have seen this done successfully before.

Yeah, I was going there before I put the motor together, but I decided that there was too much potential for disaster until the motor was home safe. I'll put the shine to her soon enough.

After seeing these pictures, I actually think that it may benefit from a chrome Kerker with 1.5" competition baffle. Funny how your perspective changes with time. I also need some lower bar risers.

Larry, you're right about those lower fork legs needing the protection. You should see the chrome on my first set of GSXR forks. They look like a cheese grater, not good for seals. I'll see what I can do with the GSXR fender.

The only "flaw" I can find is that it's not sporting Carbon bodywork
It's beautiful though. Great job on an immense undertaking, and seeing it through to the end! B)
