KZ1000 LTD Project

Ok guys
The project has arrived. Turns out that it's a 1978 KZ1000 LTD hidden under dirt and black paint. Now I will try and post a pic.
So far, rear brake master is blown, brake fluid all over battery box and frame..

Will keep you posted

those bikes can be real strong runners...mine never had one problem...you can pick up a good working rear cyl cheaper than a rebuild probably on e-bay...my 2 cents...congrats

with the exception of the paint, a dead ringer for mine when i got it.......i dont have a rear m/c, but i have some other parts.....p m me if ya need anything.....good luck and have fun......

Project goes on: tank and sides being painted and restriped to 78 LTD stock..carbs being rebuilt by Mike Nixon in CA...4 into 2 Jardine headers being rechrome...collecting lots of replacement parts getting ready to strip and paint frame..
