Welcome to KZR, great to have you here.
IMHO, bike looks great as is... I like stockish machines... but I understand your issue with the seat.
Looking forward to seeing what you create.
Best of success.![:) :)](/media/kunena/emoticons/8.png)

Gotta give you credit for how it looks now. I have a couple kz750 ltd's in my shop now. One for parts and one to restore.
I love the look of yours. I'm just getting one running for my daily driver and was wondering where you got the handlebars, and the exhaust?
Also, did you relocate the foot pegs and shift linkage?

some update
To do list:
paint my rims / change tire
drop my front suspension
relocate ignition switch
change brake light
put my license plate on the side
and find a good idea for a beautiful 2 place seat!
Click on the pic, i have trouble with the photo preview...

Hey guys !
I'm new on this forum. I brought a KZ750 4 1982 this year and I'm changing a couple of parts to get a better bike. This project from Philk7 is really helpful for me! Now I'm looking to change my seat. I started some idea to make a costum one but I'm not sure it's a good idea if I dont cut the frame or change the rear fender...
So, I would like a seat like Philk7 have on the last two pictures. Can you guys help me to fing what it is ?
Thanks in advance.

It's probably a seat from a 70s standard model. Z1, KZ900-A, KZ650-B/C/F, 750-B Twin.
Chances are that the hinges on a different seat will not line up. I'd guess that an 80-82 750E Standard seat will bolt on, but those are not the flat ironing board type --- the passenger section is slightly raised. You could get yours reshaped & recovered.
