Just BEAUTIFUL!
I fight with turning my original LTD style bike into a mod racer every time I look at it... after seeing yours, it is hard for me to concentrate on my other projects.
With the new smaller displacement blowers that Magnuson makes for cars, I would love to see some deep pockets develop a kit for these bikes. I just don't know if there is enough money to warrant it.
If anyone is interested - I can try and work with Jerry Magnuson to see if he is interested in re-living his past;)
Maybe some of the machinist here can cut some clutch basket drive units?

Would be a great idea if the drive to the blower was as neat and uncluttered as the Drouin.

Got a few more of those little jobs done that needed doing. New battery on, tank breather, fuel pipe and filter etc.
Finally got a new rear sprocket and fitted a drive chain then went to the local plastics supplier for a block of polyethelene which i've made in to a chain runner to protect the swingarm.
Still needs a headlight but couldn't resist a trial run now the chain is on.
Took it for a short blast around the village trying to keep the revs down etc as it needs running in.
In between the wheelspins and trying to loop the loop it dont go too bad :woohoo:.
Plugs show it running weak so bigger jets are next on the list and i'll try and sort some sound and moving pic's ( well! one of my kids will  ) once the headlight is on.

perma wheelie... I like it. Not so much for a daily rider but to scare the crap out of yourself from time to time.

KZ750R1 + 1991 ZR750 = KZR750R1

At Last
I've finally got the headlight mount sorted after the fifth attempt.
Turned up this alloy bar that bolts to the redundant brake splitter mount
Which takes these suitably shaped alloy strips
That were drilled to take these stainless light brackets i made earlier
Then turned some alloy cup washers to tidy up the caphead bolts
Gave it a bit of a polish
And there you have it
Bike is pretty much finished now and i've been contacted by STREETFIGHTERS MAGAZINE for a feature so time to give it a good polish for the pic's before it gets all stone chipped from the thrashing it deserves
