Well now for the story. When I found her , she leaked oil like a sive, and ran about like that too. So I decided to make her over. It's a '74 Z1 frame With a '75 900 Bottom end and The rest was taken From a '77 LTD 1000. So every thing got stripped and painted. The engine got the valves done and the old stock pistons replaced with a 1015cc wiseco 10.25 :1 kit. APE Cylinder Studs, cam chain & tensioner. Dyna S ,and 4-2 Mac exhaust. If it was worn it got replaced. For now I'm running 26mm carbs, 20 pilots and 122.5 mains. @ 4500Ft here in Montana. Someday if and when I come across some 29's. Then I'll do some changing. But for now she runs great.
Just want to say thanks to everyone here for answering any questions I might of had. Also Thanks to Z1 enterprises for stocking so many parts at the right price. And wired george for my carb questions ,(wherever he had been hiding lately).

Congrats on getting in done and it looks like a nice job. Now get some pics out in the daylight where it'll really shine!
