The motor kicks over but who knows if it will run?
I ask at the DMV yesterday and they said you'll need to run a ad in the paper + go all the way to Trenton, NJ which I will not do. I did pick the bike up in NY so who knows. Not sure its worth my trouble.
Mcdroid, I'll try taking some better pics this weekend.

You can never have too many spare parts. I have a non titled frame. The shop that sold me the bike (everything except the missing engine, that is), was supposed to get a salvage title for me, but didn't. All I have is the bill of sale. I figure if I tweak the frame on one of my runners, I'll swap steering heads and add a bunch of bracing to the frame so the steering head weld doesn't stand out by itself.

Register a barn find
scoot.net/faq/Register_a_barn_find
Titling Services
If your state isn't listed then there are two national titling services that you can use to get your bike titled:
* Broadway Titles
* International Title Service
Please note that these companies don't actually give you a title, taking advantage of lax titling regulations for older vehicles in their state they give you a registration in your name, a bill of sale, a copy of their local state's regulations, and depending on the year plates from Maine, Vermont, or Alabama. You then take the paperwork to your local DMV/MVA/DPS/CoC/etc, along with proof of insurance, a completed version of your your local state's title form, appropriate payment, and you should walk away with a local title, plates, and registration.

Well, got the bike. Turns out its has shim under buckets, huge cams, SS braided brake lines. The Lesters are in nice shape also.
