how much does it cost?
24 Dec 2008 11:30
i was wondering how much did you guys spend on making your 650 into an 810? Did you rebuild the bikes from the ground up? How much money do you think you could possibly get if you sold it? I have an opportunity to buy one but i'm not sure about the resale price.
Thanks, Kevin

with these bikes its all on the person who wants to buy it.. me personly i wont pay much.. iv gotten whole kz550 with title for $60bucks.. 2 kz 750 for less than $100 one with title..
it seems the're worth more in parts than whole. i know just from the parts iv sold from my z1. iv build it up, + paintball guns/gear, cloths. alot of bs stuff and still havent list all the parts yet.

It's really true...you're most likely not going to make money on a kz650. Unless you buy a showroom condition bike for $500 you'll never make a profit on it. That being said, I've invested probably upwards of $3K in my 77 kz650. Will I ever see that money out of it? Hell no. Do I ever plan on selling it? HELL NO.

Ya what anarki650 said, if i counted how many hours i have spent on my bikes i...........well lets say i cant count that high.......lol. I have abot $3K in my 650 also, and i will never sell it, so it really dosent reaslly phase me what i have and will spend on it. My 74 Z1 900 is a totally different story, that bike might actually make me go broke or crazy or both.........lol

"not that wives are expensive!"...
Well hell, you might as well add daughters to that list!
Nothing's to good for our little baby girls now.... Hell, I could buy 10 of those Florida KZ900 for $10k with the money I've spent on this kid...
