my 440 project

My Project.
this is the most complete pic i have of it. i tore into it to replace the fork seals and got a little carried away.

pic disappeared, lol, im still trying to get used to this forum

Andy, I'm looking forward to your progress. My first bike was a kz440LTD and I had a great time fixing it up. I still have some spare parts if your interested. Gas cap with key, new fork boots(both sets), tail light mounting rubber, new sets of bearings I believe, a street shark front tire with about 15 miles on it and some other odds and ends.

i would probably be interested in the fork boots and front tire, do you have pics of the tread on the tire? are the fork boots new? and what bearings do you have?

I dont know about were you live but up here a simple statement of facts and the tax money gets you a plate to run and then you get a bonded title providing it has been purged from the dmv system...7 years for minnesota,takes all of ten minutes.

or you could just run the tag from the other 81 :ohmy:

thats what i was thinkin, but this things been sitting for 15 years, with a few of them outside. i ride it around my apartment complex, but its still kinda scary.
