street fighter....Out of My KZ was created by KrazyZ
Ok, Here pretty soon I plan to start making my KZ, into a street fighter. My KZ came with the vetter fairing and stuff, I love the look of the GPZ, which is what I would like my bike too look like.
But
Where do you get the Duck tail?
and are there any rear sets for my bike.
and the air shocks...Can I keep them...or get rid of them.
Tell me what you guys think on this idea!

KrazyZ,
Very cool. First post pics of your ride b/c pic-whores such as myself geek on such things...and you will engraciate yourself with us in this way:lol:
Second, GPzs don't have the 'duck tail', the duck tail is reserved to the first generation Zs such as the Z-1 900, the Z1000 (KZ1000), the KZ650 (C model please), and a few others. The GPz-style is either the first generation with blocky body-work that has a more square tail section, and the second generation that has a flowing-type of bodywork that flows the side-panels into the tail section.
Thirdly: so what! Let's get that bad-boy into the sort of condition that you are wanting! :woohoo:
Fourth: Rear-sets and rear-shocks are subject to the owner discretion. You like 'em, you put 'em on. That being said, some things require determination on the part of the builder; so, if you like it, it may take more than dollars and wrenches...you may need to do some fabricating.
Suggestion: check out some of the work done in the 'projects'...check eBay for stuff that you think you want, if you find something specific let the guys here know and you'll get sage advice as well as the occassional 'great deal'.
Good ta have ya!
