Found a great looking spare tank a fella has on Ebay for sale with his 82 gpz750r1. I emailed and asked if I could purchase the tank and his reply was it would not fit my bike. I replied back and told him the 700A1 is a carbon copy of the 82 gpz750 and I`m still interested in purchasing. The tank looks practically new.
I know which bike you are talking about on eBay...if it doesn't sell, he may be hungry enough to sell you the spare tank...and I suspect that it won't sell at his opening price so you may get lucky. KZ700/750 tanks in great shape are getting to be very rare...when and if the tank becomes available, expect to pay at least between US$200 and 300 for it.

I`m still working on it. Engine and frame are done, a lot of parts left to purchase, I have a front fairing on the way. All my electric appears to be in working order after I connected all the wiring and installed the battery. New brake parts, levers, cables on the way. Kerker is going to cost a fortune. The only thing I don`t have to purchase is the green paint.
