brich, It isn't often that I can say this, but there is nothing on that bike that I don't like. The workmanship and the design of your bike is smokin. I love the slammed look and although I normally don't like the Z-1's with the rear fender eliminated, on this bike and with the Corbin seat it looks good. I have to admire your patience as well, 4 years is a long time to stick to a project. My hat's off to you, very nice job and it would be a good choice for BOTM.
Thanks brother. Yeah I never thought I would finish this thing. I think I spent most of my time on this thing trying to get it to sit right and look straight. As far as my patience, I thought hundreds of times of parting this out on eBay (worth more in pieces) and buying something new, but I knew if I did I would feel like a jerk for not seeing it through.

Your bike looks really nice and clean but...i think you need the 18 rear. The 16 just does not look right to me.
Normally I'd agree about the 16", but this one looks OK to me. It must be the low profile tire. I had to go back and look at the picture again - I didn't notice that the first time around. I agree though, I don't care for the 16" rear wheels in general, especially the ones with the super high profile tires.

I only say this becuase the bike looks so clean and lean and sleek that the 16 weighs it down visually for me.
aww man .. u had to point out my one sore spot on the bike!!
I have been looking for an 18 drum but one hasn't surfaced in my eBay search yet. Not one that was being sold seperately that is. I'm ok with the 16 for the time being, but if I could have 2 wishes .. one would be for a 18, and the other for like a 1" longer swingarm.

My buddy just came over and polished out all the paint for me. Now it looks as good in person as it does in the pics.

I actually have the Kaw badge on the tank now. I agree, it does pop off. It's like jewelry for your tank! Not sure i like the badge font though.
I just got some self adhesive .012 inch think inkjet printable aluminum. I may make my own badges. Only problem is I was trying to make a serial # sticker with it and it is getting jammed in my printer. The company said it would run through it, but it doesn't. I got to find someone with a printer that can run through a think (think cardboad on the back of a pad witdth .3mm) paper.
