Not a huge Bobber fan but yours looks really sweet and well done. A big thumbs up:cheer:

Thanks a lot.
Here are some pics of the build.

...and here she is the first day I started it. (after much crab tweaking I admit)Note the tinkling sound in the background are the wife's windchimes...not the motor.

Nice job with the bike!!!!:woohoo: :woohoo:
Where did you get the hardtail from? And the tank, where is it from? How did you mount it?Over all nice job!! I'm stiil deciding on a vintage 750 twin road racer or a bobber. I like both, but only one bike. Decisions, decisions.

Thanks for the comments.
The frame is 1" tube kit I got off Ebay for xs650's. I mitered and notched to fit the KZ frame. Most everything is from ebay or Z1 Enterprises. The tank is a 2.8 gal mustang tank that has the perfect tunnel depth and width. It just bolts right through the backbone with a couple of rubber gaskets I made for in between.
I think the tube (which was pre-bent) cost me $90 and the tank was $79.
I plan on either doing a true restore or a cafe next winter. It depends on what I find for a donor.
