76 900 Turbo was created by henrymski
They say you should never take over someone else's project, but I never listen. It's a 76 900 turbo. It has an MTC big block 1428 with 8:1 pistons, and I bought it from two guys who had been working on it together. The guy with the garage was moving to Florida so they had to sell it.

The good: They had all the important work done by professionals and used top components. Motor was built by Orient Express and the magneto was done by Joe Hunt. I have the receipts for all the work.

The bad: They did everything else themselves and it shows. They were not exactly quality oriented fellows.:S

They bought a used turbo, a Rajay, and put a few miles on it before it started blowing oil. It needs a rebuild. I discovered that it was too small and parts are near impossible to find, so I'm getting a Garrett T3/4 set up.
I have a ZRX1200 swing arm for it and I'm getting some custom triple trees to hold the ZRX 1100 forks.

I am rebuilding the forks using both Race Tech and Traxxion Dynamics internals, and have a set of Works Performance shocks for it. The new turbo is on it's way, and the triples are being machined up. I'm also getting a titanium rear axle with billet eccentric for it and some Carrozzerria V7 wheels. B)

Here's some pics:

Thanks guys! I'll give up the machinist AFTER I'm done with him.

He's a great guy. Knows his bike stuff. He's been working in the race bike business for a long time. Does the work for Brian O'Shea, a collector of 80's superbikes.

Looks like Paul Kondracki's work to me. His attention to perfection is nearly unmistakable. Don't mean to rat you out, but that guy is the man...and this sure looks like his stuff to me.

Did you get your Carrozzerria wheels in, yet??? I LOVE those wheels. You are building a perfect beast! Great project, all the stuff you are doing is top-shelf; I'll be watching intently! Keep up the great work!

I can neither confirm nor deny that assertion.

The wheels are not in yet. I had to have them brew up special innards for the 25mm Ti axle so it's an extra week or so. I should have them early next week.

Turbo should be in in a few days.

Mark, SOSDD my man. I am looking forward to getting those triples. Oh yeah:woohoo:
