Actually got it back bolted down with new stainless bolt kit from Z1(among other things). also new ngk spark plug ends.

I painted the carb top covers the same as the valve cover. those pics didnt come out. I stripped and painted the yoshi exhaust with Por-15 high temp paint. The bix stipper works well. i also used it to strip the wheels, tank and fenders.

here is the header with one coat. I used a foam brush to apply the paint. It dries to a flat black and brush marks arent really noticeable. The directions say you can reduce it and spray it on, which i would like the do next time.

here is a pic of the new rear section of the frame that i made. I relocated the electrics between the frame behind the air filters. I am using the stock battery box and even the tool kit still fits in there. in the future i think im going to make smoother battery box or modify the stock side covers to fit the new angle of the frame. The four tabs are where the seat bolts on. Not a great pic but you can see what is going on.
