My Z1 is finally fully alive again....hallelujah!!!! its been a rocky road, but she wants to live.....finally have everything working rightm carbs rebuilt, synched, new cables, tires, brakes, oil pan gasket, new ignition switch, electronic ignition, stainless steel allen case bolts, H4 headlight conversion, a little rewiring....and POW!!!!!!
she's alive again.....now I get to start making her pretty again....mmmmm.....what color?:silly:

Have you checked the head nuts?(retorqued)
Is the oil maybe leaking at the tach-drive seal?
They're famous for leaking.

it is leaking from the tach drive, but there is a bigger leak from the head gasket. my left shoe was a nice shade of shiny brown. gonna try torquing the head bolts, but it doesn't look promising.:S

Good luck with that,Madkaw.
Just remember though...oil is lazy,and it'll take the easiest route south.Be SURE of where you THINK it's leaking from.
Don't forget to check the torque on the 2 outside,10mm BOLTS.Torque those last,after the nuts.
"95-113 *INCH*-pounds".(from the FSM)
