Thanks Tim and Lou.:)
I am not 100 percent happy. I may yet go back to a black gas cap and Kawi emblems but I am going to step back for a while. And get started on an engine swap and fork rebuild.

Thanks for the kudos. Good suggestion, I should have painted each emblem different or even mocked it on the computer.
Good thing no one is paying me to complete this project because everything feels like it is taking forever.:side: But it sure is funB)

That's a very cool design. Honda's CBR600RR has a graffiti paint scheme out this year, but yours is so much better:

Thanks Bad Kaw,
I am learning. I got a new regulator and a moisture trap for my compressor so I may redo the tank yet again just to try it.:silly:
Update:
I decided to put my spare engine in. It looks fairly new. The alternator and timing covers were both rashed but everything else looks real good. Even the site window looks clear. The current engine is tired and will get a proper rebuild after I am done.
I put it into the frame last Saturday. I got it a little crooked and then it got stuck:angry: I wiggled and twisted but it would not move. 24 minutes later and trying to twist from every which way it finally budged and I was able to bolt it in. I don't know how you guys with big Z1 engines can do it.
I was so soar that I didn't do anything Sunday to give my old muscles a break:blush:
I am going to use my valve head from the old engine since the spare is already in my commuter. I stole it when I broke several cam bolts after adjusting its shims.
The head is pretty sooty. I am going to try and clean it and around the valve seats with seafoam before I install it and adjust the clearances.
