KZ 440 LTD strip down and repaint 2(UPDATE: DONE)

Well I finally got the chance(both time and weather co-operating) to lay the copper paint on the frame!

Copper lacquer paint before clearcoat.

After 3 coats of lacquer.

And after very VERY carefully placing the tank and side cover on.

Nice paint. That is about a 100 times better than the yellow and red.

Unfortunately, It sits just as it is in the pics, I have been having some car troubles, and haven't been able to get back to it.

Well I am nearly done with it, just a couple more things to button up, taillight, header wrap and 2 studs, and my recently discovered holy carb diaphragm.

I figured I'd post a pic from last week for now.
As soon as I get her all set, I'll get my good camera, and take some good pics and post em.

Well It's finally DONE(finished about a month ago, just forgot to post it)! Well, I still have to get some header tape on it to hide some of the ugly welds, but other than that, It's DONE! runs and Rides good after re-working the flow tube in the carb. Need to touch up the paint on the frame a bit, nicked it a bit putting the exhaust on.
