Well...almost done. I took her for a ride today. pretty happy that I actually got it running.

I still need to put the license plate holder/brake light on.

I had a bit of a hiccup with the shocks. I had picked up a set of used black ones and they weren't stiff enough. she rode bottomed out (made for a rough ride) so I put the originals back on. I'll have to get some new black ones at a later date.

I was going to get black pipes but I like the chrome ones. think I'll stay that way.

All the wires in the front of the bike are gonna be my last project. There's a ton of them. Don't know how to hide them. oh well I'll figure it out as I go....Now time to ride.

No problem, mine are hidden somewhat by the flyscreen.
But I plan on redoing all of the wiring on the bike sometime in the future to clean it all up. It was a nightmare when I got the bike!

I hear you...I lucked out though because most of my wiring was all factory and still in good shape. I was able to follow the wiring diagrams to a tee. I did find that there was a lot of wires left over in the front. I don't have any idea where they are going to or where they are coming from.

Hey...do you know which one of the colored wires is constant power for the 24 hour clock on the tach? I was thinking of running one wire all the way to the fuse box.

thank you. I'm Pretty proud of her. wish I had the cash to do her right though. I had every nut and bolt off and I kinda wish I had gotten everything powder coated. Oh well. Next time.

Everyone I know was skeptical as far as my bike EVER getting on the road. I wouldn't doubt if they had a pool going. I only say this because I have orchestrated betting pools on each of them for lesser reasons...LOL
