Hey so it looks like that E tank fits ok hunh? No mods at the front for mounting up there?
Unfortunately, no. The forks just barely touch the tank in the front so the steering stops would have to be adjusted (reducing the turning radius).
I know that the LTD has 3 degrees more rake to it than the E model, perhaps using triple trees from a E model would allow the forks to clear the tank depending on the offset of the trees. Of course, the rake could be in the neck of the frame. This is all just off the top of my head at this point. Perhaps looking for the E model would be easier...
I just looked at the Kawasaki website and the E model and LTD model have different part numbers for the triple trees.

I think that is the way to go. I made my own because I am cheap and I wanted to. I had the extra brake lever and the aluminum plate so the rearsets cost me nothing but time. I thought about replacing the shift lever with one from another bike but it is still working great.the way you flipped your pegs is sweet, i started doing mine that way last night on my 79 kz1000. i am going to do my shifter a bit differantly though. im planning on using the shifter linkage and assembly off of a yamaha seca 2
