My beloved 1977 KZ750 LTD was created by DirtySol
Hey fellas, this is my first post to this site. I thought I should come in with a presentation of what I have as a bike.
I am the proud owner of a restored 1977 KZ750 LTD Twin that has been chopped, cut, shaved, tucked and every other thing that you can think of.
List of mods:
Complete wire tuck
engine rebuilt and powdercoated black wrinkle
all aluminum refinished with brushed finish
front brake flip
relocation of rear sets
elimination of electronic controls and most guages
only exposed control is the killswitch
shaved tank emblem
rear section is shortened 6" and narrowed .5"
all wiring is hidden in a "wiring pan" under tail
Z-bars
MSR clutch lever
GSX-R750 5/8" master cylinder for the front
Headlight modulator for safety
rear tail LED conversion, again for safety
highly modified exhaust
speedometer mounted in a 1968 Camaro Z28 tach housing
I am sure there is a bunch that I am leaving out, here are some pictures

thats awsome looking, do u have any pics on how u hid the wiring, i love that open space were the side covers were originally. I have been thinking about doing that on my 77 kz650.

I can get you a picture the next time I have the cover off, it is a pita to get to it. It looks cluttered but I did a very good job of organizing all of the wires and soldering. I used a common bus bar system for both the grounds and power circuts. I upgraded the guage of the charge wire for less resistance. I upgraded my headlight to a higher output bulb so if I leave the power on too long I don't have enough juice to use the starter
No biggie tho, I am 200lbs and I can handle a kick or two on a well tuned bike
I will get a digital camera and get some more detailed pictures soon

I have a 76 KZ750B2. Most 76s were B1s, but the numbers show that mine is a B2. In the US, the KZ750 twin was not called an "LTD" until 80 or 81
