I have to blame somebody so I decided I might as well blame immigration. The reason being is if they would get off their butts and issue my wife's visa, she would be here to say "Usted no necesita otra motocicleta" translation, "You don't need another motorcycle". Since she is still in Colombia I bought a 79 650 SR off Ebay this morning.

I saw it Saturday morning before I had to leave for work and like a fool I didn't hit the buy it now button for $450.00 so this morning I wound up paying $537.00. On the plus side it is only about an hour's drive to go pick it up, it has a clear title, it currently runs, and it is only showing 14,000 miles so it can't be too worn out. So once I go get it tonight I'll have every version of 650 that Kawasaki ever made B, C, D, and H models. Now my only question is does anybody here want to buy an ugly ass luggage rack and backrest? Here is a pic for your viewing pleasure.

You're like one of those collectors that has a salt shaker from every state, only on a grander scale!
I hope you can get our dysfunctional gov't to grant your wife a visa. Or else KZs are going to start spilling out of your second-floor windows!
You're my hero.

the garage is yours to do with as you please.
when you start stacking parts in the kitchen  then you crossed the line from love to obsession.
now stop spending all your money on kz's and go grease a couple of palms to get that visa.
someday i will be able to afford my kz habit.

Hmmmmm salt shakers huh? I hadn't thought of those :P .You guys are funny. Steve what is a garage? Everyone knows you don't store motorcycle parts in the kitchen, that's what the pool table in the living room is for:laugh: . You only take parts into the kitchen when you need to clean up a part in the sink.:P Here is a pic of my parts dept.
