1982 KZ750 Spectre

I wrecked this bike after two weeks of riding due to some misfiring at the wrong time. Brought her back from the dead for around $550. Replace right side signals, headlight, clutch cover, pulsing coil cover, tachometer, pilot box, handlebars, accel ignition wires, and brake lever. She still needs the right side footpeg mount and the master cylinder has been shaved pretty bad but is still functional. I just started her up this past Sunday to ride for the first time in 5 months and found that she's still misfiring but found later that night that it is due to bad spark plug wire caps. She should be done by next weekend. I hope she will bring me much more joy.

Replaced plug caps with the new caps that came in the accel wire kit with regular auto leads. I took her out today for a trial run and holy cow! She idles great and tuns like a striped ass ape. She all ready for a nice weekend of riding. I look forward to posting some more pics.

I'd really appreciate it if you would shorten the link in your sig, it pushes the text off into the black border on the right and makes it impossible for me to read.

If you click on the "Modify" button at the bottom of your first post in this thread, you can copy and paste the link I shortened into your sig. Feel free to change the "As seen here" part to something more appropriate :)

Cool looking ride.

That black and red paint gives the bike a vintage kinda look I like it.
