What about how some of the guys have done... the "under-mount" method? Same trees, same gauges, just mounted underneath instead of above... By the way, I'm glad you're going with the drag bars... Although Superbike bars would be good too... ;)

They were not Clubmans But Clip ons ,, The bike ran down hill so shorter shocks would have been needed . I could find them and all . By the way shocks off a CB650 use clevis bottom mounts ,, But after riding my KZ750B4 I thought that lowering the seat will be enough :) :) ,, Thank You for the info is there a picture in your project thread ?/

I found the guy I have used for year to sew my seats up here in town again after the shop he worked at closed so I will be dropping off the seat pan Friday , I sand blasted it then painted it ,, Better price too :) :)

I still used the rubber mounts...just grabbed new bolts and bolted it underneath the eyelets

This is a photo chop Iben did for me off KZ400.com kinda shows the colors ,, only I will use the Metalic green used on a ZX6

WEll I am back on this after a good Summer of riding also the purchase of a 2000 Concours I have decided to switch all my custom stuff over to my running 79 KZ750 twin ,,, Here are pics of what it looks like today
