Its not the 59 club, the cafe, or the checkered stickers...I just think that shoe could have had his own made that were diffrent and a kustom...just holding him to a higher standard cause it looks like he knows what he is doing!

its not that the stripe is hokey...the fact that its carpys stripe makes it hokey and carpys stickers...

I hear what you are saying- I am just saying- that stuff has it's place in the cafe' scene- it is the history of Cafe for the most part, and even looks good on this bike. Since Carpy was even a part of that scene, and his dad especially, I don't have any problem with that kind of stuff on such a classic cafe bike like Shoe is doing here.
Doesn't cheapen it, or make it look lame, or anything like that- it looks cool, and really, it is not like everyone is doing it or anything:laugh:
But it still looks cool in this case.
Slapping them on a modern naked or something like that- well, that would suck.

I am also looking for different bars and like how the drag bars look on yours. Have you routed the cables yet? Any problems with the stock cables and drag bars?
