I hear what you are saying- I am just saying- that stuff has it's place in the cafe' scene- it is the history of Cafe for the most part, and even looks good on this bike. Since Carpy was even a part of that scene, and his dad especially, I don't have any problem with that kind of stuff on such a classic cafe bike like Shoe is doing here.
Doesn't cheapen it, or make it look lame, or anything like that- it looks cool, and really, it is not like everyone is doing it or anything:laugh:
But it still looks cool in this case.
Slapping them on a modern naked or something like that- well, that would suck.

Shoe, the fact that we are riders of "old" bikes makes us all individual, what you have done shows your individuality and I like the outstanding work you have done to it, if you were in OZ now (summer, great weather) your bike would be a crowd stopper ......congratulations !!!! No, I would'nt ride it because it is'nt me, but well done and you should be proud of the result.
Cheers

Are you not using the side mount license holder anymore? I like that look. Looking at doing that to mine since im lowering the rear 2 inches.
I am also looking for different bars and like how the drag bars look on yours. Have you routed the cables yet? Any problems with the stock cables and drag bars?

The liecnce plate got changed to slim down the look .. make it all flow instead of having the thing hang off the side , as for cables I dont see any problems ,, But will see , It has been just to cold in the garage even with my small heater to work on it , I am also waiting for brake pads to show up for the front calipers , The drag bars fit nice and it gives it a good feel sitting on it ,,
