New guy! Sharing project!
08 Feb 2007 02:03
What's up everone? I'm new to the site and just wanted to introduce myself and share my project. Name is Bart from Atlantic Beach, NC. I was building a custom chop and the project was going slow (marrage, kids, work, buildng house). Had a KZ 750 B sittin in the junk pile a buddy gave me and was going to trash it until I saw the Saki Bomb in The Horse Mag. Got curious and started playing. Kicked er over, good compression, could work with it, so me and the guys from the firehouse went to work turning this baby into a cheap chop to get me on the road while I'm working on the other custom. Frame was made into hardtail, sporty tank, cut flat fender, and still going. Here are some pics of the progress.

Hey godpoppa, welcome to KZR. Just a hint- for clarity, your thread title should read "New guy, sharing project".... otherwise somebody here might think you got a guy to share! OK, it's early, I need my coffee...
Glad you decided not to junk a KZ. Good luck with the project.
Sounds like you work in a firehouse? Several others of us here are in the fire service too. Put your bike specs and your location in your signature line, it helps when you've got questions.

However, I'm not really in the market for a Guy to share; unless he would be willing to paint my house. Then I'd think about it:S
