Its been unseasonably warm up here in the great white north. So I've had the urge to carry on with my project.

While I was putting the wiring harness back into the frame I did the coil powering mod and got an extra 0.75 volts at the coil.

Then I found my Stebel airhorn that I bought at the bmw rally last summer. What the heck! It came with a 30 amp relay in the package. I used the horn button to trigger the relay, ran fused power direct form the battery and viola!, 139 dB of attention. It can draw up to 20amp at 12volts. So far though it hasn't blown the 10amp fuse. I must say, its a nice upgrade from the stocker.

Wow! That should get some attention:blink: Do you have any pictures of this? Could you mount it in the original location?

Well, it certainly frightened the crap out of my neighbour! I think it'll fit in the stock location. I'm not 100% because the motor still on my work bench. That won't get finished until me and taxman duke it out in April and I see how much is left for my bike budget in '07.
