New KZ650 owner!

hey everybody,

I picked up a '77 a few months ago and I think i've just about got it on the road. i work at a motorbike shop here in Reno NV, changing tires and such. I've owned a suzuki gs450, and I now ride a cb125s, so i am no stranger to the UJM. I am however, excited to see if the KZ is all it's cracked up to be. I've got some pressing questions regarding how I might acomplish that goal, but I'll post them appropriately.

By the way, the bike had a blue and white flame paint job, badly cracked and faded from years outdoors. I've already stripped it off the tank and repainted it black, I will try to post some pictures as soon as I can.

There are quite a few KZ650 owners on this site, so you won't be short of advise or comradery.

Be sure to list your location, as well as the year and model of your bike in your profile when you can.
There may be other KZr members near you willing to lend a hand if needed, or wanting to get together to go riding.
Having your bikes model and year listed will usually get you more replies to any questions you have.
