Hi. I'm a new member. Been riding a while. I do a little painting bikes for fun and some building. My first bike was a Yamaha V-Star. Moved on to an 81 Sportster chopper, then...stupidly...sold it and bought a roller to build. That project is on hold for a while...got married...new babies...you know the drill. Had a KZ 750 sittin around that a buddy gave me. Was going to trash it but saw the Saki Bomb in the Horse Mag and had a vision. Stripped her down, cut the frame and started work. Having some electrical probs I will seek help on later. Look forward to talking with some of you and hopefully gettin this baby rollin soon. Take care all.

Welcome Downeast. We are assuming you are in Maine? Put your bike specs and your location in your signature line, it helps out with questions...
We have several members in northern New England, "Milkman" is up in Newport, may be others in your neck of the woods.
What year is your 750?

Thanks guys. Actually, I am the Deputy Chief of Atlantic Beach Fire Department in North Carolina. Been in Conference all weekend. I'll post some pic of the project in the next day or so. Be safe and keep the rubber side down...Oh and by the way...fixed the electrical prob late last night. Wasn't getting fire, just had to chunck all the wiring and re-do it so it made since biker style...now got plenty of fire. Next brain breaker will most likely be carb probs but we'll get to that. Thanks.

She's a twin. Gettin ready to finish welding the frame up. Makin her a hard tale. Picked up a sporty tank and some exhaust on ebay...exhaust was hard to find...grabbed a chrome headlight from a swap meet in Myrtle Beach, cut 3" out of an 8" flat trailer fender and welder it back together, ground er up, smoothed er out and it...turned out sweet.
