Just saying Hi. I'm glad there is a site for KZ riders.
I just aquired a 78 Z1R that I bought new in 79, sold in 86, and purchased it back a couple of years ago. I plan on doing a rebuild on the entire bike, so I'm sure this site will be a lot of help. I will need it when it comes to rebuilding the engine.
Thank you, BobbyZ1R

Welcome!
Sometimes you don't notice how much you like a particular machine until you realize how much you miss not having it around. It's nice that you were able to get your Z1R back.
And we like pics around these parts.

Thanks everybody, I will keep you informed of how everything is going. The first thing I will work on is rebuilding the 29mm Smoothbores I installed on it back in 79. The outside of the carbs look great, They just need all the rubber and gaskets replaced. I will try to post some pics as things progress.
