Newbie with dying KZ250... was created by rratchi
Hey folks! Decided to join the discussion formally, after watching for over a year. My KZ250 developed some problems this year, which showed up as a flattened lobe on my camshaft. Replaced the camshaft and it proceeded to do the same thing again within a few hundred miles (dumb move on my part). Somehow, it must not be getting oil to that area. Anyway, it's going to be just too expensive to fix (again!), so I'm planning to part it out on Ebay. I've put a note in the classifieds in case anybody's interested in parts. I've also got the Kawasaki cross-reference software, so I can look up which bikes a specific part number works on. Best to everyone...ride safe.
