Hi everyone, I just picked up my KZ550C1 yesturday. So far I've done about 50 miles on it and loved every minute it of it. Very different from my last bike which was a ZXR400L2. Its an american import with 21000 on the clock and only had a couple of owners. Really good condition. Hope it serves me well. I've got a few mods in mind so I'm sure I'll be back to ask lots of annoying question :)

Tom

Welcome Tom...lots of 550 owners on this forum...we'd also like to hear about the ZRX400...a bike that never made it to North America.:)

Thanks for the welcome.

Here's a pic of my ZXR. It really was a great bike but a bit too uncomfy for any distance. I think it looks pretty good for a 14 year old bike! I still can't believe how fast it was. Supposedly will reach 142mph but I never took it that fast, pretty close but not all the way :). The one thing I will miss is the brakes, they were amazing! As the bike was so light and had duel front discs with braided lines, it could stop on a dime as they say... I'm thinking I might upgrade the brakes on my LTD.
