Hello All,

Been searching for a good forum for Kawasaki enthusiasts and it looks like I found one! Anyway, I have a KZ 650 that I am restoring with an emphasis on engine performance and mods that will work on the road race track.

I plan on building an engine with the starting emphasis on a good cylinder head. I was told that the 750 head is a good place to start as it does not have a hemispherical Combustion Chamber and it would allow me to use a set of flat top pistons ( Better squish dynamics) instead of domes to get the CR that I want?

Any thoughts on this would be appreciated.

Thanks Tweasl

Welcome Tweasl...there are a number of owners on this forum that have modified their 650's...hang out for a while, they will eventually answer your questions.
