Hi all,
Come to think of it I never said hi in this part of the forum![:P :P](/media/kunena/emoticons/15.png)
Anyway here goes,
I'm from the land of cloggs, or windmills or in short the netherlands![:) :)](/media/kunena/emoticons/8.png)
I currently own 1 z650 from 1980, and one z900 with a z1000 block which i recently bought will get send to me in the coming weeks.
Here is a picture of my z650 c4 1980
Things changed so far:
smaller indicators
different rearlight
small rear fender
single seat
new coils
larger plate on sidestand (the stock one is too flimzy tbh)
new steering bar (alot less toury)
todo this fall:
paint tank etc
refurbish the whole front (forks, light, dails, the works)
might consider rebuild of the tophalf of the engine, because got some oil coming from there
i also appologise for the lack of good english grammar etc

i might need to add that i bought this as a "bike for parts" bike.. for somewhere around 250 dollars..
But after a few evenings of tinkering with the electrics it came alive
Now allrdy 1500km added to the dails

Welcome yggy.
I'm also from the land of cloggs and windmills. Born in Amersfoort and came to Canada many years ago.
Also a 650 owner, a C2.
Your bike looks great. Can you give us a bigger picture?

Got to love those parts bikes that turn into keepers.
It's easy to start collecting a couple of extra bikes when you are handy.
