Hello from Japan
03 Oct 2026 21:37 - 04 Oct 2026 19:03Attachment not found
I acquired a KZ750R (Z750GP) about a year ago.
It had already undergone some modifications when I got it, but I ended up redoing almost everything, which took a full year.
I’ve finally got it running smoothly, so I decided to join this group.
Please forgive any awkward phrasing, as I am using machine translation to write this.
Front fork & wheel : YAMAHA FZR1000
Rear swingarm & wheel : YAMAHA FZR1000
Tire : DUNLOP Q5 120/70-17 180/60-17
Carb : KEIHIN FCR33
IGN : UOTANI SP2
Brake : BREMBO RACING + casting caliper + BREMBO rotor
SUSP : OHLINS Legend Twin(320mm)
Ultimately, I want to bore it out to 810cc, install FCR35 carburetors, and enjoy both winding roads and touring.

Welcome.
Japan is a to be a hotbed of custom Z-bikes, from what we've seen. That's a nice, practical one. Well done.
