zr550 crank case

hi i recently got a zr 550 zephyr 1993

and its been dropped breaking the crank case and i was wondering if the 1982 ltd kz550 crankcase would work with the part out of the zr as i cant find anyone wrecking one thanks

Not had a 550 but all these ZR motors (except the 1100) are based on their earlier Z/GPZ ancestors so it is highly likely the 550 ltd cases will do the job.

at partzilla. 82 kz550D. 84 zx550A. 91 zr550. looks like most if not all of the gaskets are the same. cylinder base gasket. oil pan. transmission cover. clutch cover. LH & RH engine covers.
