My 1981 kz750e2
10 Jun 2026 15:51
Hi all, wanted to make my intro post so I can possibly document my build and help other people with their bikes.
I've had my kz 750 for about 3 years now, started off completely original except for exhaust and it barely ran lol. I've done to many things to list here but some special ones are it's bored out to 810 with a milled kz750 head with slotted cam gears. It's got a vance and hines 4-1 on it which I drove over 4.5 hours one way on a work night to get😂. All electrics have been swapped to a motogadget mo.unit and sit in a nice tray under the seat along with a shorai battery.
Current project is putting new tires on, I am switching to a 18in rear wheel and have got continental classic attacks for it. I am also in the early process of adapting 2019 ninja 650 calipers and master cyl to it as well(parts are ordered just waiting for them!) also need to re-wrap my tank as it's starting to lift and peel
