Another recruit (young one)
07 Apr 2026 15:41 - 07 Apr 2026 17:19It has been a while that I have been using this forum to read most of the insightful comments/discussions and it might be the good time to introduce myself here .
I am 30 I 'fixed' my first motorcycle when I was 20 (definitely not the best job ever but you know... it kinda worked) it was a Kz400 from 1979 in France. My dream bike (as so many of your) is and will always be the 1973 Z1 candy brown but it is a 'tad' expensive for me. For now I have a nice KZ750B 1979 that I redid last summer and I plan to buy soon a KZ 1000 LTD from 1979 that I also need to fix (I plan to transform it into a Kz1000A2 this way I am getting closer to what I always wanted).
Unfortunately I do not have any pictures of the old KZ 400 but here is a quick one from the 750.

PS: Yes the blinkers were not attached properly on the photo but I had to make a quick system to fit the side luggage
