Grew up on a KZ440

Hi everyone, just picked up a 1982 KZ44G and plan on restoring it back to original condition. I’m hoping to pick up some info from people that know WAY more than I do about these old beauties. This’ll be my first restoration but hopefully not my last.

my father had an 81 440 and my uncle had a KZ 900 then later, a LTD 1000. I’ve loved these bike my entire life.
