Hello Z and KZ riders

Hi all,

New member here joining from New South Wales Australia.

Recently acquired a 1977 Z1000 that was restored by the previous owner who did a great job. Has a few carburettor issues so I’m looking to get my hands dirty on those as well as a few other cosmetic changes.

Heres a couple pics alongside my ‘75 CB750

Its a yoshi 4into1. Previous owner told me they are quite rare these days?

yes, left-side exhausts are fairly rare. So far as I know, Denco and Yoshimura are the only ones. Modern Yoshimura are on the right side.

As I recall there were others that offered the left side units. Will say I do not recall seeing a left side Yoshi, interesting. But is it the pic or are the primaries looking long on it?
