Hello

Obviously, I'm new here and thank you for allowing me to join.  I'm not new to motorcycles, but am new to the KZ world.  I own three other bikes:
2005 FJR1300
1998 TL1000R
2007 KLR 650

The most recent purchase is a 2000 KZ1000P.  I am a retired police officer.  I had always wanted to be paid to ride.  Unfortunately, I never had the opportunity.  I was cruising through FB marketplace one day and saw a patrol KZ for sale.  It appeared to be in good shape, and it was.  I purchased it from the owner, who BTW, was the officer who rode the bike during his duties.  He had bought it at auction, after he retired.  Sadly, he lost interest in it and sold it.  I have wired up all the emergency lights on it and am now trying to figure out how to wire up the siren.  The carbs need work, probably just a good cleaning and balance.
