Hi everyone
03 May 2025 05:40
I joined the group a while ago , its my first post , I read many of the posts on here and always found loads of information from them.
my present bike are a 1981 Z750 e1, a Yamaha DT175MX, and a ZX9R which will be leaving me for a new owner this afternoon after owning it for 10+ years sad day but with semi retirement next month I have to watch the pennies now .
Anyway Back to my Z750 I've owned this 20+ years and its been another on / rebuild LOL, but recently got it to run , stripped down the carbs fit what i could get hold off in new jets , had to get a second hand diaphragm, as the price for a new one was ridiculous, and another carb body as I bust a jet in one trying tto remove it , if I had only watched u tube videos before hand !
blow torch heating the carb body made the rest of the jets removals easy ,but hay you live and learn don't you.
Thanks for a great group and letting me join you Phil

Welcome to The aZylum, our little interwebs corner of Motorcycle Madnezz.
We'd suggest a heat gun as being easier to control than fire.
