Just picked up a Canadian 79 KZ1300 non runner, 37000 kms, with frozen engine and no keys from original owner.
Bike has been in inside storage since 1990. Tank and panels are in good shape.
Only the LH mirror is missing, and the right front blinker lens is cracked, otherwise the bike is complete, even has the tool kit and owners manual.
Brought her home, and immediately took out plugs and poured into each cylinder a 50/50 mix of acetone and ATF
Worked the rear wheel back and forth in 5th gear, let it sit overnight and then tried again next day and sure enough after maybe 20 minutes, the engine turns over via the rear wheel without issue, YAY.
Keys ordered with ignition and seat lock code number.
