Hello from Kentkucky
29 Nov 2024 17:53
Thanks for having me on board. I just acquired a 1981 KZ 1000 LTD in kinda of a mess. I am going to try and restore it. So far I have had to machine and repair
float pin tower. I am waiting on bar switches that I found on eBay and trying to sort out the electrical. everything was disconnected.

Welcome, these old bikes are typically all messed up. We all have had our fair share of issues like that. Nice repair, looks like it is threaded to the base?

The part has a root on it that matches up with a hole drilled into the remaining post. i used JB marine grade to glue the two together.
