Greetings from the Dallas area, new member here.  Just reacquired my 1982 CSR 1000 I bought new in Billings MT and am happy as can be.  I hauled it to Texas in 1989 and then gave it to my younger brother in 1993 with 10k miles on the clock.  30 years pass by and little bro was feeling sorry for me and otherwise busy with his 1974 Z1A 900, so damn if he didn’t surprise me a couple weeks ago when he showed up from Idaho with the CSR in a trailer….gifting it back!  28k miles on the clock now, highly original survivor, runs like new…only missing the rear grab bar because I was too short sighted to keep track of it when I swapped in a sissy bar back in the mis 80s.  So glad to have her back in the garage.  Cheers!
