Hi from Germany / Ruhr Area
12 Aug 2024 04:04
Cheers everyone,
I'm Martin from West-Germany (town called Bottrop).
I grew up in a home of Zed-lovers (my mum rode a KZ900A4 green, my dad a 1300 which is now hanging at the wall in the living room) so I naturally gravitated towards old Zeds and oil cooled bikes in general.
My personal bike is a mix & match KZ1000A2 with 900 rear wheel, non-matching paint and oldschool 4-1 Marving pipe.
Currently it is sitting in the basement, waiting for it to be put together again, which I want to start this autum/winter.
I got the roller from my dad, it had a 5,5" wheel in it but back then I wanted the Mad Max look with the skinny wheel. Now I will go the big wheel route again, but with fresh engine, fresh paint, all in all I'd say stock modified.
I have a few parts left that I do not need anymore that I will advertise here shortly, some maybe recognize them from Facebook.
If you have any questions, hit me up and thanks for the activation!
Have a good one,
Martin

Thanks for the welcome!
Let me rephrase: From western Germany. I actually did not want to refer to the old, devided times, but use it as a geographical reference.
Nice Z1B!
Greetz,
Martin
