Hi got the chance  to buy a winter project, but no title, no seat, gas tank or side plates,  got the vin can anyone tell me the year, make and model thanks Phil from Michigan JKAZDM1XCA006888

Is it possible you wrote the vin down wrong. This is the closest I get. 1981 kz250, JKAKZMD1eBA011170 - 015713.

JKAZDM1XCA006888 is only 16 digits. 
Assuming it should be JKAKZDM1XCA006888, then it's probably a 1982 KZ750-M1 CSR Twin. 
note: the X in the VIN you provided is a 9 in the frame number on the service manual. 

Kawasaki service manual: eebbaayy #134976561071. has beginning frame number on back cover.

Not sure if this will be of help or not, but this is what I have found and it appears to be an 1982 M1 (CSR) model as others have indicated. Keep in mind that there were no offerings of the 750 twin for the 1981 model year.
