Hello from Spain! Newbie with an '82 kz550a
26 Feb 2024 09:42
Hello everybody, I present you my first bike.
A 1982 kz550a (At least that's what it says on the websites where you put the VIN number).
I've had it for 2 weeks now and I am very happy with it. It works very well although the light that illuminates the tachometer and the small icons that light up on the tachometer turn on and off randomly while I use the bike as if it had no power to illuminate everything or there was a bad connection. It also leaks a little oil and there are two cracks in the cylinder head (I probably said the wrong name for the piece. I'll show some pics in spoiler).
I want to show love to the bike, even though I don't know anything about mechanics or electricity I hope that with patience, money and love it can flourish to it's golden era.
Thank you for reading and I hope we can help each other![:) :)](/media/kunena/emoticons/8.png)
